The July release of KeyLines is here. We’ve revamped the SDK site, added color gradients to links, updated our database demos and added support for Angular 6. Read on to learn how you can get started with the latest enhancements.
Color gradients on links (Beta)
Styling nodes and links is a great way to add context to your data without overwhelming the user. This release introduces the ability to add color gradients to links:

Color gradients on links incorporated with KeyLines’ geospatial capability
As well as creating a striking visual effect, gradients are great for helping users understand flows between nodes, and for highlighting clusters of different types of nodes even at low zoom levels.

For a first look at colour gradients in action, take a look at our revised Style Links and Impact Analysis demos.
Restyled KeyLines SDK site
When you next log in, you’ll notice that we’ve given the SDK site a makeover:

It’s part of a wider project to improve the look and feel of all Cambridge Intelligence websites. There are further improvements planned, but we’d love to hear what you think about the changes so far. Email or Tweet your thoughts.
Support for Angular 6
We’ve updated our collection of resources to help developers get started with KeyLines and the latest version of Angular. If you’re using Angular 6 to build your graph visualization app, there’s detailed documentation available plus demos.
Demo updates and bug fixes
Including…
- Adding dynamic expand indicator glyphs to many of our database integration demos
